Fixed blade knives

Fixed blade knives are usually designed for heavy tasks. Their fixed blade without folding mechanism makes them more durable. Most fixed blade knives are full-tang, meaning the one piece blade runs all through the grip, which gives it a great overall stability of the knife.

They come in many sorts, like combat or tactical knives, hunting knives, bayonets, bushcraft knives and kitchen knives, but also as smaller every day carry (EDC) knives.
