CobraTec knives are extremely safe to handle and use. CobraTec OTF knives have a built-in safety feature that does not allow the blade to fully extend if something interferes with its path. In 'safety mode' the blade must be reset by pulling the blade fully into its locked position for it to be fully functional again.
